• This is money that you have to spend on your care needs if you receive personal care services from your Local Authority in your Borough.

• An individual who is receiving care services from their Local Authority is eligible for a Personal Budget.

• You will have more control over how your care needs are met and it allows you to live your life the way you want to.

How do I go about getting information regarding Personal Budgets?

• Get in touch with your Social Worker

• Are you going to do your own Payroll and accounts? Or will you employ a company?

• Are you going to ask the Council to manage your accounts?

​

• Are you going to ask family/friends to manage your accounts?
